This outfit is inspired for a Back To School look. My army jacket is one of my favorite pieces to throw on to give my outfit a little edge. It actually was one of the first Kendall and Kylie pieces launched in Pacsun. I'm totally obsessed with boots, as you can tell. These Report boots, from Nasty Gal, are my favorite because of the chunky heel. They have an 80s feel to them. Which I'm totally about! Now to prepare for the busy week ahead. Buying my books, a new planner, and just getting ready for school! Have a wonderful week!

This weekend has definitely been a breath of fresh air. My weekend off for the month. Thank goodness. I start school in a week... and I'm actually pretty stoked for this semester. New beginnings and I'm so ready.

My outfit is a rock n roll mix with a psychedelic edge. I'm overly obsessed with these Dr. Martens. As soon as they came in at Dillard's I knew I was going to have to snag them. Perks of working in the shoe department.

Channeling My Inner Flower Child

First look, first post!

I'm very excited to start this new journey. I've been talking about starting a blog for months now and I finally decided to just go for it. (FINALLY) Let me first introduce myself... My name is Alyssa DeShong. I was born and raised in Arkansas and I'm 22 years old. (I may or may not have sang "I'm feeling 22" for my birthday....) I'm currently a student at the University of Arkansas. My major is Apparel Studies with a minor in Marketing.

Well, now on to the outfit....
I am wearing a white lace dress with a thrifted brown jacket, black Aldo booties, and a flower crown from American Eagle. I absolutely love this dress. It has a nice vintage look and with the brown jacket it gives it a 60's vibe. I would definitely say I'm channeling my inner flower child..
