BACK TO BASICS

Life is great, even though I'm a little sick. The weather here is so bipolar. One day it's 60 degrees next day it's in the 30's. Anyone else experience that where they live or is it just Arkansas weather??

Turned this gloomy day right side up with some fun colors. Checked the weather, looked at my closet and decided today was going to be a happy bubbly day even though the sun didn't come out to play. Grabbed my pink polka dot sweater scanned my clothes and first thing that caught my eye was my lace dress. Lace and pink polka dots? YES.

Band tee, boots, and stripped sweater.. what's more rock n roll than that? This shirt is my absolutely favorite thing ever. My fiancé bought this band tee from Hot Topic then burned some spots on it and its gives it the perfect vintage look. So for those trying to buy these shirts like this. Go to Hot Topic, buy a band tee or even whatever shirt you want to look like this, and just burn some spots on the shirt. Easy thing you could do to make a shirt look more vintage. You could even get a squirt bottle of bleach and spray some spots on it as well.

Crazy

Hey there..

To start off, I survived this fall semester. Closing out with a 3.4 GPA. I'll take it. There is so much that has happened in the last two months I don't even know where to begin. First things first, I'm engaged! (AHHHH) Crazy right?! Totally had no idea. Not even the slightest bit. (Details, Pics, and Videos coming soon. Don't worry!) Next, well this isn't really that big of a deal but it is to me. I finished my final project for my Flat pattern class and its completely perfect. Okay, maybe not perfect but hey, drafting your own pattern and completely constructing a blazer yourself for the very first time is pretty impressive. So I have to brag a little... I'll post a picture of it so you can see my pride and joy. Someone asked if I was going to sell it and I looked at them like they were crazy. HELL NO. But seriously though, I will cherish this piece forever.

Back to the proposal..

Me and Ryan took a road trip to see our friends perform in Lawrence, Kansas. We haven't seen them in forever. Let alone been to an actually show since Warped Tour. Well friends, he definitely topped the cake for how he proposed. He pulled me on staged and asked me to marry him. I was blown away honestly and you can definitely tell in the video. (HA!)
